| January 2012

Now that the holiday season has come and gone, it is time to get back to life at SPM. With the Accreditation Visit from NEASC behind us, we begin the process of implementing these recommendations from the Visiting Team.

First things first, one of the strong recommendations is that SPM develop a new Five Year Strategic Plan in the critical areas of Enrollment Management, Finance, Facilities, Alumni Relations and Development. I am also happy to announce that Mr. Michael Benoit, a member of the Parent Board has agreed to Chair this vital endeavor. As this Strategic Plan begins to take shape, I will keep you informed of those developments.

As the year goes on, I will also be sharing with our readers, pertinent aspects of the Accreditation Reports. With this in mind, I’d like to start at the end of the report which states, “The Visiting Committee hereby unanimously recommends the continued accreditation of St. Peter-Marian Central Catholic Junior Senior High School…the home of very special people”.

Wishing Everyone Good Health and Prosperity in the New Year,

Headmaster
